My name is Mia and I am the creator of Mia’s Tree Lot. I am a mom to a wonderful bright teenager that God has truly blessed me with. Seeing him grow and become the person God has created him to be is amazing to watch and I get the front row seat of it all. Being a mom is the most important job God has given me. I am also the fiancée to an amazing man that God has also blessed me with. I count my blessings everyday I get to be with him. 

I am a Christian and a believer in Jesus Christ. God and family are two of the most important things in my life. They both help to keep me balanced. My Faith has helped me through some tough times and through it all God has been my strength. I consider myself to be a prayer warrior. I do constantly pray and talk to God whenever I can, praying for myself and others.

 I first started creating these beautiful trees in 2014. It all started with an idea I had after a trip to the local craft store when I didn't find the kind of tree I was looking for. Seeing all the Christmas decorations really inspired me.  Christmas and Easter are my favorite holidays. God has truly blessed me with the gift of being creative and using my hands to create these wonderful trees. I made my very first tree as a decoration for my desk at work. I didn’t make it with the hopes of selling it but before I knew it people kept asking me where I purchased the tree on my desk. I then had orders to fill which was exciting for me. The first month I made and sold over 50 trees. Before I knew it I had orders from their family members and their friends and so on and so forth. That is how Mia’s Tree Lot started and now I am happy to say that we have become a family business. My sister Lee is my business partner and helps take care of the business end of our business. She is my sister, best friend and sister in Christ and I feel very blessed that she has decided to join Mia's Tree Lot. My son is also a very big help and is also the muscle of the business. He is very creative and helps with ideas for every tree. The newest addition is now my fiancé, who likes to call himself Mr. Tree Lot. He is also involved in the creative process and loves to sell our trees.

Every tree is handmade and worked on with care. We even pray over every tree in hopes that it blesses whomever purchases it. A lot of time and love goes in the making of every tree. I take great satisfaction in my work and the trees I produce. I make sure that God is a part of my business because without him I am nothing. I get dressed in the morning, show up and God does the rest.
